Wellington Sevens Costumes

Wellington Sevens Costumes

Since launching over a decade ago, the Wellington leg of the International 7's circuit has been seen as not only a world-class sporting event, but in equal measure, New Zealand's biggest dress-up party.

Attitudes towards drunken behaviour at the sevens have certainly changed in recent years, but it's hard to fathom the Wellington Sevens ever being anything other than New Zealand's best sporting festival.

Costumes are taken seriously in the capital - if you're of the opinion that a Hawaiian shirt is going to pass muster, then you've got another thing coming.

Check out some of the other costumes that have graced the Wellington Sevens stage - and hopefully you'll get a healthy dose of inspiration.
