My comment below should have been accompanied by 1 start not 3. Sorry!
I brought a voucher from one of those daily deal type websites for IPL at this place. I have had it before at great places but thought I would try it here because the deal was so good. The experience was awful and I haven't decided whether or not I can face going back for the rest of the treatments. As soon as I walked in I wanted to walk back out... The man at reception was scruffy and grunted at me rather than speaking to me. Looking around the place seemed a bit dirty and not as clean and tidy as most day spas I have visited. It didn't look anything like the pictures on the website I had checked out before buying the deal. The lady who carried out the procedure was nice enough but I felt completely uncomfortable. The lights were really bright and she didn't bother giving me a towel to cover myself with or leaving the room so that I would feel less uncomfortable taking my clothes off (it was for brazillian hair removal). She applied aloe vera at the end and used tissues to apply it and wipe it off leaving bits of tissue on me... She then left the room without a word and I guessed it meant she was finished. There was no-one at reception when I left. The whole experience was awkward, really uncomfortable, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. In fact, I would recommend not going there. Especially when there are other great places around Wellington that offer the better service. I think it is well worth paying the little bit extra.
Like someone said in a previous comment, if I could give this review no stars I would! A friend and I had bought TreatMe vouchers online for Brazilian waxes. Since it was both our first time, we thought the person waxing us would do as much as they could to make it a comfortable experience. Boy, were we wrong!
The lady, Helen, who did the waxing was so rough, rude and unprofessional. She slammed the door on me, applied burning hot wax down there, pretty much pushed me off the bed when it was all done and without a word walked out leaving me alone in the room. Of course I expected pain but Helen made me feel so uncomfortable and sh*t scared!
While waiting for my friend in the reception area, I also got the feeling that all they wanted to do was get money out of people. Ideally, I'd like to maintain my brazilian but thanks to Helen, I don't know if I'll be able to get over my traumatic experience!!
A wee while back I was given a voucher to go to Evergreens. My honest feedback is that I don't think I'll go back there again - the place is untidy with boxes and bits and bobs everywhere around the place, reception is cluttered and I didn't find the rooms very welcoming or of a high standard hygienically - very average.
However, the girls that actually do the work were lovely and doing their best and were warm and friendly - the massage was great but because of the surroundings and lack of high standards - I won't go back.
A lot of noise from reception area with people on the phones talking loud and talkign loud from front of house to back - spoiled the relaxation part of things.
It seemed that all the front desk was worried about was getting your money and getting you back to spend more! Atmosphere was not great and the place looked tired.
The highlight was the lovely workers who I enjoyed.
I visited Evergreens Day Spa tonight to get my deep cleanse facial. this included, a deep facial cleanse and increase Metabolism, removing all the black and white heads with special equipment that they have. Helen the lady I saw did other stuff but I can't remember them over my head.
I would give this Day Spa full five stars as people are really friendly and most of all the treatment works. I have had microdermo with them as well before and my face feels very youthful.
Also, a bit of facts, am a 27 year old guy and the main reason I visited them was because I work In front of computers everyday and I have sleeping problems hence a bit of dark circles started to appear under my eye. I saw them in grab one a few months ago and bought 1 deal as I was not sure if they were good. But when I got my microdermo done my face straight away looked clean and very glowey..... Then over the weekend I went to spa again to buy Yonka products mainly to buy eye cream as this product is not cheap but from online reviews I saw that they really work. I bought one eye cream and tried it for a week and straight away I can see difference.
I would highly recommend this place :-)

My partner and myself had one of Evergreens Day Spa couple massages. This was a wonderful experience. They made us feel so relaxed and welcome. The therapists were very experienced and very attentive to our needs. Both my partner and myself have been back a number of times now to enjoy their other treatments and another couple massage. Being a male I found that they relaxed you and made you feel welcome. I had never been to a dayspa before and felt a bit nervous about it. I had thought that dayspa were the domain of women, but how wrong was I. Since the couples massage i have had some waxing done, a deep tissue massage, and a facial. I would recommend Evergreens to anyone who wants a relaxing experience from professionally staff. My partner seems to be there all time, which you can actually do at Evergreens because there prices are so good.
I had a massage at Evergreens Day Spa as a birthday gift and it was the most amazing experience. I feel bad for the other people that didn't have an amazing treatment as i did!! the therapist were kind and were very welcoming. Would recommend Evergreens Day Spa to anyone!!
I had a massage there as a start to my hen's night, I was treated to a back massage and facial. On first appearances it looks like they're not quite ready to open - paint spatters on the seat cushions and exposed jib board.I waited patiently in the cramped waiting area with my mum who was keeping me company while they got a therapist to run over from their other day spa, she got there 25 mins after my appointment was meant to start. Mum didn't want to wait out there because the guy looking after reception was quite rude (and a bit strange - at one point he was asking us for a medical opinion on his knee). They allowed mum to come through and set up a chair for her in the little room which was nice.Started with the massage - I had never had one before so when asked what type of pressure I wanted for the massage, I selected 'moderate-light' which was middle of the options available. I think we had different ideas of what that meant because as soon as she started on my back it felt like she was trying to rearrange my bones. I thought that must be what it's supposed to be like but it was sooo painful. She also did my shoulders/chest but her hands went a little lower than they should have under the towel - I started to wonder if she thought I wanted a 'happy-ending' type of massage! The facial was fine but I came out of the place with bits of the face mask still on me - didn't realise this until I had walked to the apartment. All in all a poor experience and I ended up with a sore back/neck for the rest of the weekend, with bruises on the back of my shoulders
