@baldie - a KitchenAid, oh yes, wouldn't that be nice! I have a 1950s Kenwood that is doing really well. Ya gotta love those old machines, eh? I'm hoping that it'll last another couple of decades of intensive cake-making before it goes to Kenwood-heaven :)

The most scary part of this dish is announcing its name to your family! And ok... peeling all that garlic is kind of daunting too.

But once it is slow cooked - take note @Scooter, SLOW cooked ;) - the garlic is so much less pungent!

I'm so glad that some of you have tried the recipe! It's easy enough for kids to make but kids of all ages enjoy it! :)

@RuthHader Yes, GoodBite is one of my favourite foodie sites :)
But do try the 40 garlic clove chicken recipe - it's not nearly as garlicky as you'd think!
