Fairly new hot “special occasions” restaurant. Took us a couple of year to get here but went for an anniversary and were not disappointed. It is pricey but the food is incredible, the service is great and the ambience is quite pleasant. I really liked the interior - reminded me of a 70s vibe with its mostly wooden interior. It is also sea themed and the menu is seafood heavy as expected.

We had the whitebait tarte and the smoked salmon as starters, then tuna and fish /shell fish stew as mains - all was delicious, especially the tuna which was accompanied by ricotta and pickled courgette (yes, it really works as a combo!).
They bake their own sourdough which was also amazing and you can buy a loaf to take home, which sadly we forgot as we were quite blown away by the dessert, especially the unique apple tarte which was a bit sour which I loved.

A must in Wellington but to be saved for a very special treat.
