Strawberry Fare is still the go-to desert restaurant in Wellington, with two pages of desert options on their menu. On my most recent visit I decided to avoid my usual chocolate favorites and opted for Sticky Date Pudding which was beautiful. The service was a little slow but the place was full being a Saturday night. I also love the fact they're in Wellington's Entertainment Book making one visit each year a little cheaper.

I was so impressed by the service and food. I felt I had to write a review to let other people know.I used a 'special deal' voucher which was about to expire. I rang and spoke to Katie who was most helpful. My understanding was I would get a drink and meal for the $19 but to top it off was told by Katie could also have a dessert. The waitress was extremely accommodating when my friend and I asked questions regarding different dishes on the menu. The food at Strawberry Fare was amazing, both extremely happy with what we ordered and the portion size too. We ended up taking our desserts away with us due to prior commitment. We were equally surprised by how well presented they were, with all the accessories there as well.We will definitely be going back again and recommending Strawberry Fare!

desserts are what you go to strawberry fare for - unfortunately the mains. Last time I went I had the chicken breast which was really dry - Im extremely thankful that the chocolate madness saved the meal. Lesson learnt - strawberry fare is wellington's dessert go-to.

There is simply no better place to go for desert in Wellington than Strawberry Fare. The absolute go-to for me is the Kahlua Cheesecake (I'm a sucker) but there's at least another 10 desserts on the menu to choose from.
Strawberry Fare is certainly a Wellington dining institution!
