OK if you want consistency and value for money this is the place to go. The Dixie Chicken is of course my favourite and I order this every time, I know what I'm getting and they never fail to delivery. The atmosphere and staff are more than accommodating. The desserts are by far my favourite - used to be the apple pie until that was taken off the menu which the Chocolate Pudding is at the top of my list. Great for family dining would recommend to friends and love going back every time.

After all these years, Lone Star is still one of my favourite restaurants in Wellington. The portion sizes are legendary - and it's fair to say that the quality of the food doesn't suffer.
Great spot to catch up over a few bevies....go the ribs if you get a chance.

The meals are absolutely massive, you certainly get your moneys worth. Can be a bit crowded and cometimes kind of hectic getting a table but it is worth the wait. Had the chicken maryland last time I was there and really enjoyed it
