Sorry Grand Century, you blew it !We had the dis-pleasure of dining at this establishment. I'm not normally one for submitting reviews, but felt compelled to do so in this instance. We heard the food here was great, so we thought we'd give it a try - over 15 of us got together and decided to dine here. A formal table booking was made several days before (by phone), but upon arriving at the restaurant, the place was chaos. There were people queuing for their tables, including us ! To make matters worse, we were given a ticket (much like they do in a fish 'n' chip takeaway) as if we had just arrived, without a reservation. The restaurant lady then yells out your ticket number - oh yeah, if you don't hear her yell over all the noise, then you miss out - sorry. Not only did our group have to wait over 20mins, but when we finally did get our table, only half of us were able to be seated, leaving the rest of our group waiting in disbelief. Some of the food was tasty, but they had run out of some menu items.....surprise ??!@#?The service we received (once seated) was very poor - for a group of our size, spending over $400 (average cost of $30/head) we certainly expected better treatment ! Will we be dining here again? Many of us do not think so. Unless this restaurant takes action to improve their service and allocate seating for their diners in a timely manner, I'm sure there will be many more user reviews, just like this one.
