My partner surprised me with a trip to Dragonfly the other night after I'd been going on about checking the Courtenay Place restaurant out for ages.
It's a really cool spot - beautiful decor inside but I really liked the courtyard space and on a calm Wellington night, it was the place to be.
The food is great for sharing, and so there's no food envy, well advised. The stand out dishes that I tasted were the Green Papaya Salad (quite difficult to get this done well in NZ) and the Red Duck Curry - yummo!
Dragonfly is slightly more expensive than a lot of the other asian eateries, but already is one of the best asian eateries going around in Wellington...recommended highly!
