Cobar Restaurant changed hands a couple of years ago and what a difference! the décor was stunning and all the food is locally grown or sourced, as well as having a green recycling image in place. We decided to try Cobar Restaurant on a very wet Wellington weekend for Sunday lunch and the food was yum. Fast service and lovely food. My only con would be that the tables are very long so you're actually sitting closer to the person beside you on another table, than your eating companion! But it was a delightful experience and I would go back again, especially with a larger group.

My husband and I (who are Eastbourne locals) visited Cobar during the week for the first time since the restaurant changed hands over a year ago.
Really liked the look of the place - definately spruced up with Frizzel artwork adorning the walls and a few licks of paint here and there.
Meal wise, I had the lamb cannelloni - mouthwatering!
Well worth visiting the new version of Cobar if you're in the area!
