My husband and I went to The Ambeli last Friday and we're really pleasantly suprised by the place. I'd heard great things from a few friends so good to see word-of-mouth does work!
The waiter we had was exceptional - and his wine recommendations were spot on.
I had the caramalised carrot and feta fatayer while my husband had the chicken wrapped with prosciutto - both superbly done.
Looking forward to our return trip to The Ambeli - mmmmm!

Not sure about 'Soul food' as it says on your description, but it certainly hits the mark. The waitress took an age to bring our drinks which is the only reason I dropped this from a four star review to a three.
