Scopa pleases every time! It's small and popular with attentive staff and you'll find choosing between ordering a pizza (you can see them tossing the bases) or a pasta dish one tough decision. I recommend sharing to solve this - on my most recent visit my friend and I shared a crab tortellini and a special salmon pizza both of which were absolutely divine. Scopa has cheap Italian table wine as well as more expensive New Zealand varieties on offer and the traditional Italian desserts such as Tiramasu, Affogato and Gelato are absolutely beautiful. Saving room for a thick Italian hot chocolate which is served with cream is a must (don't worry, they come in three sizes!) as these guys make THE BEST hot chocolates in Wellington!
