Sex and the City 2

As someone who has never watched a single episode of Sex and the City I was surprised to find how funny the franchise was when I saw the first movie back in 2008. The uncensored wit and class of the series was a real shock and something which I found endearing and something I think most people fail to appreciate. While the name is enough to put some people off, the series is clever and credit must be paid where it's due. However, Sex and the City 2 is an unnecessary addition to the franchise. Performances feel forced, the jokes are empty and somehow even the exotic location seems dull. It is clear the franchise itself is going through menopause and, like Samantha, no amount of pills can save it. Let us hope this is the last we see of this world.
Great film to get the girls together and see together. One that offers everything you expect out of the sex and the city girls, and unlike most sequels it comes off as good as or better than the first movie!
I was dragged along by my Wife which didnt impress me much, but I actually didnt hate the movie, it was pretty funny, obviously chick flicky, but I liked it, didnt much like the ending though....
I loved the 1st Sex and the City and also enjoyed this one. Nice easy fun movie to watch. Went with a group of girlfriends and we are now all wondering should we invest in an apartment for those days off??? Worth a thought...
A great movie - loved it just as much as the first one - how could you not! I want to go away with my girlfriends like that now. Was great watching to see what outfits they would wear next - love the HUGE earrings. Can't wait for the next one. Flick was even better enjoyed in Gold Class - way to go.
So I'm easily pleased when there are sparkly things - I LOVED Sex and the City 2!
It's like a four year old in a $2 shop....the clothes, shoes & hand bags - bliss! If only I could have one!
A wee bit over Samantha though - some of her parts were just groase! The best part was Charlotte & Miranda talking about being Mum's! (Could so relate!)
A great chick flick to zone out at - get lost in the clothes, shoes & just have a laugh with your girlfriends! If only we could all live like that!
Love it, as good as the first. Was very over the top but that is what you expect from the four girls, amazing clothes/wardrobe changes. Definitely worth seeing
