Puss in Boots

I don't usually do movie reviews but maybe I should start. Last night I was with some friends who where lucky enough to all score some Golden tickets (allows access to all 2D and 3D movies in most Auckland cinemas for free until the end of February) so went along to see Puss in Boots 3D. It was an absolute cracker, I would put it well above Shrek as this spin-off supplied everything. A no good cat who turns out to be a hero, a love story, endless comedy, a suprising final twist and a movie all cat lovers will enjoy. From the first scene until the last -minus a short 15 minutes in the middle where the story drifted on a bit and got all serious- we did not stop laughing. Maybe it was those kitten eyes or maybe it just is a genuinely great movie but I came out with a smile on my face which toOK ages to go away. Admittedly if you don't love or have never had cats some of the jokes will be lost on you but for me it was almost a perfect movie.
Please note this is not a movie just for young children its for late 20's and beyond children also!
If I could I'd give it 4 & a half stars! Loved Puss In Boots - the animation is outstanding with a brilliant story line.
Highly recommend this movie - great fun for all the family to enjoy. It has really good adult humour and the kids we took along loved it too!
Best bit was the dance off - but who doesn't love a good dance off!
