Really awesome and fun film! Stunning colours and postcard India at its best. Of course, there's a love story and it's passionate, dramatic and eventful. And some fighting, some singing + dancing and a bit of car crashing. But if you don't like Bollywood there would be no use in my preaching it to you as it's not for everyone.
Personally, I only started liking Bollywood quite recently. I like the colours, I like the locations and India, the happy end and I even like the singing + dancing. But what really draws me in is how naive and sweet these films are in a world where the current film fashion is more towards the 'gritty' and 'realistic'.
A lot of people argue that 'real' India is not like that. I know that! And so do the Indians, I'm sure. But the cinema is a temporary sanctuary, an escape. For me, anyway. So Bollywood totally works for me.
