Quite enjoyed this story of a washed up actor known for a second rate comic book hero part trying to put on a serious play. The music and the narrow backstage theatre corridors set the perfect neurotic atmosphere for actors' ego-fuelled torments and tantrums.

I enjoyed all the acting apart from Naomi Watts - she's quite useless in everything she's in but for some reason she's a favourite of the director. Personally, I thought Emma Stone was great. And I loved the complex and crazy character played by Edward Norton. And Andrea Riseborough is always goo too - sadly, little screen time.

The only thing I'm not keen on in the whole thing is the very end of it but the rest was entertaining, moving and mildly disturbing;-)
