The Chipmunks and the Chipettes go on a cruise trip with their owner/father, Dave Seville (Jason Lee) and Alvin (Justin Long) is ruining Dave and Simon's good time by causing trouble and wreck havoc and they get into a cruise ship wreck on the Isles of Scilli and Dave goes looking for them and his AWOL charges as the six find a new friend who is more than a match for the Chipmunks and the Chipettes.
